5000 pieces of flyers and 1000 pieces of posters printed on glossy paper! Please excuse my over reaction, it just too (beyond indescribable). (:

The official logo for the event that I’m working on right now (which is still in planning process).

The development of CHH logo (CHH stand for Chocolate Halal Hub) started when I was asked by the representative of event management to come up with a logo for our event. Honestly, I was a bit worried since I’ve never design a logo before. Not to mention, my photoshop skill is on the basic level compared to real designer. I dont even know how to use the pen tool and Adobe Illustrator. :/

So I come up with a basic and simple logo using Photoshop. Which is really ugly IMO. SERIOUSLY. I dont have much confidence in it.

Feeling not satisfied with my final logo for CHH (below – the left side), I come up with another design (below – the right side). I showed the logo to the rep and as expected, he didnt like it. It was a bit too “society-ish“. “Macam logo club” to be exact. HAHAHA. He wanted a graphic design logo.

Because I dont know how to use a pen tool, I resorted to Photoshop Brushes for the images. I created various logo by playing around with the Brushes. Which lead to 12 logo.

I showed it to my rep and asked him to pick 3-4 logo based on the shape. And he picked three logo which later on, I developed into different themes. And the result is what you can see below.

Out of my expectation, he combined two logo that I created. And that’s how CHH logo was created. Credit to my rep! I feel so proud of my self. My first baby (logo)! :D

Would life be much more easier if we have “Ans” and “Del” buttons?

No. It would be meaningless.

We will hardly gain any experiences. And we will not have much memories.

Allah is our “Ans” button and “Del” should be death.

And now I feel like I’m doing exactly what I should have been doing. I should put my self in other people’s shoes before I bash them for bashing people.

But seriously. I dont understand why / how could people like.. be so MEAN/Bloody Stupid Idiot.. and say this and that when they dont even know what is the truth. First, words hurt ten thousand times more than sword/knife or whatsoever. Second, like they even know that you’re wasting your time / saliva saying this and that about them.

Can we just STFU and worry about ourself instead?

I’m not saying that we have to be ignorance. But there’s a limit in everything. Everybody have a freedom of speech. But. Only speak the truth.

Someone shamelessly lead people to think that she’s the one who designed the poster (which is actually mine).

And I cant bring my self to go berserk about this. I am mad. But not to the point where I want to confront that person who are taking the credit of my hard work.

It’s funny how I always stand up for my friend but couldnt do it for my self. I cant bring my self to see injustice toward my friends but couldnt do some justice to myself.

I’m letting it go. As always. 4 years ago and now. Masih sama.

I dont give a damn if other people dont know about the poster plastered all over the place is mine. Seeing it already made me feel proud and happy. And that’s the most important thing to me. My friends knew. Enough la kan. In the first place, it’s not the praises that I expect/looking for.

Since this kind of thing happen, I decided to create an album on my FB and uploaded all my design there. Unfortunately, most of the old artworks were not anywhere in my computer. Luckily I uploaded some of  the designs in my blog. So yeah. My 2008 artwork sucks a lot. It was HORRENDOUS. That’s my starting year for designing things using photoshop. A self taught. There are lotsa more things that I need to learn.

Not So Awesome (DESIGN)
