There are four mode for Instax 7s, Sunny, Cloudy, Outdoor and Indoor.

For first time : Insert the battery (on the side of camera).

Yes, insert the box (instax mini film) in the camera, the yellow mark helps you to insert the film correctly.

Pull out the lens to ON the camera, Green light on the mode indicate that it’s ready.

Shows the number of films left (available) in the camera.

Remember, the first shot will remove / is the cover of the box not film.

There’s no soft copy, USB or LCD screen. This is not digital camera. The output of this camera is the film paper. Once you shoot, the paper will come out in seconds and then it will take a bit of time to appear on the paper.

Just like polaroid, the picture was developed on the paper itself through some kind of chemical reaction on the paper. Not because there’s ink in the camera.
