Day 17 : There’s No Such Thing As Secret Recipe

Not a really Secret Recipe fan. I went there for like less than 3 times per year. Their foods are plain awful to me. Not awful as in really suck. It just awful cuz there’s nothing special with it. The more I ate Secret Recipe’s Tom Yam Kung, the more I feel that it just nahhhhhh..

Secret Recipe is so overrated. Dont you think so?

That IDontKnowWhatItIs. Seriously rasa macam the instant pasta that cost me RM4-5 per pack. I just need to add few prawns, some mushroom, olive oil and cheeseeee. Done! Haha. (more…)

Kuew Chap For Raya

“Kuew Chap”

Unlike Malaysia, we dont really have a must have Raya-Foods such as Rendang, Lemang and Ketupat. So, during Hari Raya we would have a lot of variety of food. The most popular food during hari raya would be Ketupat Palas (yang segi tiga tu).

For this Raya, my home prepared a Kuew Chap. BTW, There are a lot of variety of Kuew Chap. You can even find it in Malaysia, mostly at Chinese restaurants but it would be non halal lah since they use pork (ada jugak yang guna daging itik).

As for our Kuew Chap, we use chicken.

For Kuew Chap, the Kuew Tiaw is rectangle (bukan panjang2, but segi empat) and a bit thicker than the Kuew Tiaw use for Kuew Tiaw Sup. (more…)

Sebenarnya dah lama Saffa nak post entri ni, tapi asyik tertangguh je. Malas giler kowt nak edit-edit gambar ni semua. Hahaha.. Okay okay. Jangan cakap MALAS, cakap RAJIN. RAJIN. RAJIN.. Amin~

Puas Saffa fikir nak letak entri tajuk apa, kalau letak 7 Makanan Malayu-Thai, Macam pendek sangat. So, Whatever & Nevermind je lah kan. =.=

Selamat bulan ni bukan bulan puasa, kalau tak confirm kecur air liur korang. Hahaha.. Oh ya, 7 makanan ni adalah makanan-makanan yang telah Saffa makan sepanjang Saffa berada kat kampung tempoh hari. TEMPOH HARI? Hahaha. Bulan lepas kowt!
