Err.. Helo. Hi. Sorry for the interruption for today’s post. Haha. Saya bukan Cik Saffa ye. Saya Cik Dila. Her friend, classmate and crimemate for every semester. I’ve seen her smile, I’ve seen her being emo, I’ve seen her laugh but the only thing that I haven’t seen is her tears. I guess I’m dealing with a tough girl, maybe? :D

Actually I don’t really have anything to say but because I have too much time to waste, so why not. I think I’m going to start off with …. Emmm with … with Malay’s style. Not any other style, just the way that the “cool” Malay people dress themselves nowadays.

Okay.. now, u see what I mean here? GUY wearing shawl? C’mon! That was so not cool. This is Malaysia. Malaysia won’t snow. How could you possibly wear shawl when it’s freaking hot?

I went to Shah Alam last 3 weeks and was waiting for my sis at this one corner. Then there was a guy wearing shawl around his neck, tight jeans, shirts, sunglasses and a coat walking in front of everyone at the waiting corner. Everyone was looking at him. And then got a guy said “Baru balik dr London kottt. Aura London tak habis2 lagi”. And everyone was laughing, well of course including me.

What kind of style was that? A very bizarre style. Shawl and sunglasses at the same time? Was him hot or cold? Even others couldn’t appreciate that kind of style. Yes, u can style, this is a free country for God sake kan? But appropriately, can u?

And tight+small shirts? Ohhh another NO NO. Very disturbing to look at. The tight jeans… The tight shirts… Why does everything has to be so tight? This is called as fashion crime u people. I think the tight/skinny jeans go just fine with those people who have nice legs. Not too skeleton and not too big.

I have this friend loves wearing tight and small shirts together with skinny jeans and he is skinny. And so I was so eager to know why men love wearing that kind of shirts and jeans. This was what he told me “Ni kan style Amerika. Ape laa.”. And I went speechless. Then, I replied “Kite org Melayu ke Amerika? Dah xde identiti sdiri ek?”. I was so mad with his answer. Yes, I know that is American style. But HELLO! If you are Malay, then act like one lah kan?

Why do people have to idolize and follow other’s culture? This is my main problem with Malay people. I’m very very very allergic to these kinds of people who don’t appreciate their own culture. U are born Malay. Don’t ever forget your origin.

Okay, cool down dila. Cool down.. Sorry for being emo. Heheh :D

This is what I declare as fashion! Something good to look at. Oh yes, I know. Jaga pandangan! Jaga pandangan! Well, guys. Clean cut style is not bad. U look smart and very very mature. Very very ambitious too kot? Hahah. Or maybe, just a plain t-shirts with typical jeans. U may look just great! Of course without those skinny jeans and tight shirts + sunglasses in the mall + shawl.

Looking normal is the best. U don’t have to try very hard to outshine others. Sometimes, looking normal like this BEAUTIFUL Remy Ishak is enough to make u look outstanding! Please if u have shawl at home, wear it in ur bedroom or maybe when u go overseas. Tight shirts are not for us, guys ….

And girls, of course. U must be wondering why do I have to attack only the guys style and not girls. Yes, I know. Girls style can be a lot worse to even start with. And to write about how girls should wear, well, everyone knows that observing aurat for girls is a must. So, nothing much to say about girl’s style. Hehe.

I guess that’s all from your guest blogger. I hope u won’t take it to ur heart about what I’ve said in this post. We are gifted to be born in Malaysia. To be born as Malay. And of course to be born as Muslim. So, don’t lose our identity okay. Be proud of it :D

I’m sorry to have taken ur time. I know u are expecting Miss Saffawati to entertain u with her witty post, right? And I’m very sorry for any wrong facts that I’ve accidently put in my post. To err is human kan? :D

Salam..
