Najwa At Urbanscapes 2010

“Hardly a worthy intro for such a gifted young lady, since enrolling at the International College Of Music, Najwa Mahiaddin has been evolving herself into a more polished and extraordinary musician.

Her sound might not even be neo soul anymore, in a few years it’ll be her own distinct genre.

Najwa has already written a full album’s worth of songs on her own, and has showcased these songs in most of her performances.”

Najwa is very much influenced by Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse and the current crop of Neo Soul artistes like Erykah Badu, Chrisette Michelle and Jill Scott.

And she will be performing at Starhill Gallery for Midsummer Nights Feast on 2,4,6,7,8, July 2010.

    Takkkk. Sibuk amik gambar atau pergi makan ke apa ntah. Saffa tak hafal sangat schedule performances. Main redah jer masuk tempat perfomances tu. Lepas dah amik gambar, dengar dua tiga lagu.. blah lah pergi jalan tempat lain plak amik gambar. =.=

    Pertama kali tahu tentang Najwa. Huhu. Anak menteri rupanya. Tapi bagus lah die, tak bergantung pada latar belakang utk kembang bakat ;)
