HTC HD7 & The Marketplace
I’m too way behind in reviewing this phone! Sorry to those who are waiting to read the reviews. :(
The Marketplace, like iTunes/AppStore is a place to get things such as apps, games and music for Windows Phone 7 = HTC HD7. Unfortunately, for Malaysian, the Marketplace is not available in Malaysia yet. To be able to purchase things, you need to change your country from Malaysia to Singapore or US.
Click “apps” and this is what you have (referring to the first picture). The applications was organized in lotsa categories, making it much more easier to browse things.
For paid apps, it usually comes with “try” option. I’m pretty sure that you wouldnt want to end up with something that’s not worthy!
Another thing that I like is, it was categorized and sorted into “top”, “new” and “free” etc. And as people said, there are really not much apps. But, just like iPhone AppStore, in time, it will grow.
Right now, I’m pretty content with the apps. Although I secretly envy iPhone instagram. =.=”
These are Zune Marketplace.
Why “Kanye West” is on the front? That’s because he’s “The Artist Of The Week”.. So yeah. It change every week! Anyways, slide to the left there is featured section and another left, you will be presented with “New Releases”.
Another left, “Top Albums” and yeah, another left “Genres” or you might just want to use the search function. =.=
This is what happen when you search, for example, “Usher”. You will be presented with list of Usher – Artist, Album, Songs and Playlist.
And I pick Usher : Artist. Usher’s page consist of Albums & Songs (which will present what’s in my collection and marketplace).
Remember about the BIO page that I talked about in this entry? Well, you can see it in the first pic. However, it is really quite disturbing since the font is quite small and we can enlarge it PLUS, there’s no PARAGRAPH! The developer somehow must thought that “yeah, just create it, no one would read it after all“! O_o
Anyways, just like Games App which you can install and try, the songs usually have some preview.
And yeah, I’m liking those interface so much! I like the fact that it change according to the artist that I was browsing. Unfortunately, like people said, there’s not much things on the marketplace yet and my So Nyuh Shi Dae aka SNSD aka Girls Generation, eventho available on the Zune Marketplace, there’s actually “nothing”!
BTW, for those artist without much information/proper page, the background will be just black. So yeah, that’s all for Marketplace! Will wrote few more things about HTC HD7 such as calendar, picture and etc tomorrow before the summary entry! ;)

one more thing . when i first got the hd7 . and first time charging it . why is it that the touch screen becomes unresponsive ? and it happens whenever i charge the phone . has it ever happend to u ?

Pernah jadi few times masa pakai local charger, not original HTC charger, the phone basically went nut. Unresponsive and too sensitive etc.
And yeah, masa charging, it did become unresponsive for few times. Not everytime I charge the phone tho. I had to off the phone and on it back after a while. Ingat kan sebab phone tu pernah jatuh so jadi macam tu.
Cuz it never happen to me before, only after the phone jatuh. So, I assume the problematic phone yang selalu stuck, even when the phone is not charging, was caused by the fall.
ohh okayy . skrg ni phone i okayy plakk time charge . pelik . haha . oh yeah . how do u manage the musics and videos using zune ? i absolutely have no idea how to do it . lol . can u give me the steps . i cud really use some help rite now . haha .

Zune macam iTune. Dah install Zune kat computer?
Basically I just use Zune untuk transfer music & video. Marketplace and others tak pakai pun. So, if nak tutorial on how to transfer the files. I can help you. But, if nak mintak tolong other than that. Tak reti. =.=”

Tak boleh nak sign in macam mana tu? Sorry. If you just tell me this and that. I really cant help you. Unless you provide a picture / print screen for me to see.
BTW, there’s someone that I knew yang tak dapat guna Zune with his HTC HD7. Up till now tak tau kenapa tak boleh. Just saying.

hmm . ohkayy . ill try . its just that whenever i try to create an acc in the zune software , it says no internet connection . which is weird becuz i do have internet connection . hmm . anyway . thx for the help .

hi ^^ i’m a HTC HD7 user too, for now the Zune has no problem with me, the problem is with MarketPlace (TempatPasar) >,< I know that they don't have the MarketPlace in Malaysia yet but I accidently clicked Singapore for the location @_@ they will change the background too according times right? because the first time i clicked it, it shows the airport (Changi International Airport i guess) but then just now i online, it shows another background @_@ OMG i'm panicking right now…. @_@ anyway, thanks for your post about this HTC HD7 ^_^
