Chan Put Thai Mai Dai

Chan put Thai mai dai. Mai ko jai took sing. Pom Sap Sonn. Mai pen rai. Pom mai ngo. Hahahahahahahaha..

Thai language is really hard to learn. It’s complex and grrr.. Prrety much like Mandarin language; it has five tones: high, mid, low, rising and falling.

/nāː//nàː//nâː//náː/ /nǎː/ Memang boleh giler nak belajar sebutan dan bezakan makna dia. Ah… Yai. Yaai. Yai! Yai. Yai.. T__T

Many scholars believe that the Thai alphabet is derived from the Khmer alphabet, which is modeled after the Brahmic script from the Indic family. However, in appearance, Thai is closer to Thai Dam script, which may have the same Indian origins as Khmer script.

That should explain why Thai alphabets/characters are curly like India and closely related to Cambodia.

Anyways, Chan Put Thai Mai Dai okayy = Saya tak reti bahasa Thai. Sikit-sikit boleh lah. But, seriously, my Thai language is sux. Even my 6 years old niece speak better than me! T_____T

Oh ya, regarding the above picture, my sister is making fun at me… That’s because I blurted out “Chan put Thai Malay mai dai“; the correct one is “Chan put Thai mai dai“. There’s no ‘Malay‘. If you translate what I said; “Saya tak boleh berbahasa thai melayu“.. =__=”

I do have interest to learn Thai language. But. I give up when people keep making fun at my pronunciation.

My 21 years old sister is way better than me. Jealous ah.

If you are wondering, my sister said that “she miss my brother” and “my brother should not love others, just her“. Gedik! Haha. My brother said “he love my sister” and I dont understand what is “Pen Huang“.

“Nong” is as in adik. It’s a way to call someone younger than us. Usually being use between family and close relative lah. My nick name is “Nong Dik“, Adik adik. Grammatically error. But. Whatevea. Haha..

The rest conversations is about when is my sister going to come back home and if she’s going to Thai this coming holiday. My bro said she’s unsure because he doesnt have money. “Po Nuru” wont give him money.

“Po” is “Father”.

Basically, my brother is joking; saying that “Po Nuru” wont give him money to go back to Thailand. Liyana, who is my cousin commented to remind him that “Po Nuru” is his father too. Do you get it?

Hahaha. Nevermind. The conversations are really long (38 comments between my bro, my sister and few from my cousin), but i’m such a lazy ass to translate it. Plus I’m not good in it (Thai language) AND I dont REALLY understand most of the conversation. T__T

While searching for Thai’s drama on YouTube, I stumbled upon this video. For those who did not used to Thai language will find this song ‘weird’ in some ways. Haha. This song is my current play-over-n-over-until-I-am-bored. Haha.

It’s OST for drama “Jaew Jai Rai Gub Khun Chai Taewada“, this drama won the best drama for 2009. I’m looking forward to watch it, but the playlist is not completed yet. And I hate watching the drama without fully understand what they are saying. Haish.
