Not Sure What Kind Of Street Food Is This.

Posted under Food & Cuisine, I Love Travel 6 Comments

It was Maghrib when My sister & I along with my lil bro received a call/invitation from Kak Yah, a relative of mine, asking if we wanted to eat something like korean food for dinner.

And the korean food turn out to be something like this! I was dumbstruck when we arrived in this place. Haha. There is no shop, just a stall tepi lorong and there is no chairs or table too! When we arrived, they just pull out a plastic mat and place it on the front of closed shop lot / tepi jalan.

Totally outdoor! It was fun. But I wonder what if it rain? Anyways, definitely gonna go there again and bring our own meat & seafood next time! :D

2. Yamunsen : Spicy Glass Noodle Seafood Salad
3. Som Tam : Green Papaya Salad
4. Pelermai/Polamai : Fruit Salad
5. Lap Kai : Minced Chicken Salad

Failed Meringues!

Posted under Food & Cuisine No Comments

By hand instead of beater machine. Kerja gila. I know. That’s why gula caster tu tak hancur. It doesnt mix really well. Tak smooth. Thus, failed meringues. :/

Well. At least boleh jadi object untuk amik gambar. =.=”

Recipe : Oatmeal Chocolate Chip

Posted under Food & Cuisine 4 Comments

Bahan A

1 Buku Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Caster Sugar
1 Egg
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence

Bahan B

1 Cup + 2 Tablesp Wheat Flour
1 Tsp Soda Bicarbonate
1 Tsp Baking Powder
Secubit Garam

Bahan C

3 Cups Oats
2 Cups Chocolate Chip

  • Mix butter (at room temperature) with brown sugar and caster sugar.
  • Then mix the dough with egg and vanilla essence.
  • Ayak tepung gandum and mix it with soda bicarbonate, baking powder and a bit of salt.
  • Mix Bahan A & B.

  • Mix the dough with Oat and lastly mix it with Chocolate Chip.
  • Form the dough into small ball shape and put it on the tray.

  • BTW, I uses Baking Paper sebagai alas tray.
  • Heat it in the oven until it turn brownish / 110ยบ celcius for 15-20 minutes.
  • Leave the cookies at room temperature for a while. The cookies become crispy after it cool down. Then, MAKAN MAKAN MAKAN or keep it in a jar.

The original recipe of my best friend’s oatmeal chocolate chip contains 2 eggs and just 1 & 1/2 cup of chocolate chip. Tak tau betul or tak, but when I use one egg instead of two, the dough become more solid and the cookies isnt too flat. (Suka hati jer. Hahaha)

Reduce the amount of vanilla essence if you want your cookies to be less brownish.

And if tak guna baking paper pun tak apa. Instead, sapu butter pada permukaan tray. But it would be easier to remove the cookies from the tray if you use baking paper.

Selamat mencuba! (:
