And so it has begun,

Oh, how time flies. Cant believe that it is already the 4th week of this not-so-new-anymore semester.

Numbers is not my forte. Especially when it involve a lot of calculation, formulas and cases. But, it doesn’t stop me from getting A- for certain finance subjects. So here some tips from this suck-with-numbers student to all students out there. Just to be clear, I flunked a lot of finance subjects. C is not a strange alphabet in my academic transcript k. But that is a history.

Anyways, here are few rules to remember.

If you don’t know something, ask / seek clarification / argue / discuss.

If you know you are not good in something, seek help. Find someone to help you. Yes, you can complain, whine about how hard it it and cry (because I do that all the time), but seek for help after you are done with it. Please, do not sit in the corner and cry until it is too late for you to get help.

If you are not-so-motivated to study, find a motivation.

If you such a lazy-ass when it comes to studying, find a helper. Find someone who can make you study. Get out from your comfort zone / room and crash into your friend’s room to study. Don’t go back until you have finished your assignment or revision.

Do revision. Start your preparation early. Unless you have a brain that absord things like a sponge then maybe you would not have to.

Teach. They say to teach is to learn twice.

Above all these, set a target, goal or whatever it is. If you don’t have a purpose/vision, you won’t achieve anything. All those successful people in the world doesn’t become successful just like that. I believe that they are successful because they believe in something. They have a goal, a vision and a dream to achieve and they work hard for it.

I Sew

Posted under Art & Photography, iPhoneography 8 Comments

Decided to take Sewing Class for Skill I. And now, I sew.

I always love sewing. I means I always wanted to learn and sew since I was small. I just didn’t have the opportunity to do so. The idea of making and sewing my own clothes or things is really fascinating to me. I like things which are not routine. Things with endless possibility. Something that allow me to discover and try new things.

And that probably explain why I love cooking. The first thing that I ever cook is Maggi. I was 9 years old at the time, or maybe 10? Couldn’t remember. But I remember distinctly that I was craving for Maggi Goreng and no one wanted to cook it for me. So, being me, I stomp off to the kitchen and cook it on my own. Of course it was a disaster. But I ate it anyways. Haha.

I’ll be learning how to sew a blouse and dress this semester. Beading and Baju Kurung next semester. Is not that is exciting? :P
