Baru Sekarang Rasa Macam Degree Student

After 1 long and 1 short sem. Baru sem ni rasa macam degree student. Siapa setuju?

Tak payah angkat apa-apa.

Ini semua gara-gara FIE (Foundation Of Islamic Economics). Masa mula-mula masuk kelas FIE, ingat kan belajar apa lah. Dalam kepala fikir mesti belaja pasal riba etc. Rupa-rupanya.

Ambik kau.. Habis semua isu ekonomi Lecturer kupas. Daripada tak tahu apa-apa. Terus. OooOoooOooo. Ini lah student Melayu (segelintir), tunggu kena suap jer. Bila student A-Level & International bukak mulut. Terus. Waahhhhhh. =.=”

Okay. Ini memang Degree.

Sebelum ni belajar apa lah sangat? Tak rasa pun perbezaan antara belajar dekat Centre for Foundation Studies IIUM dengan International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Kebanyakkan subjek lebih kurang jer dengan apa yang kitaorang belajar dekat CFS dulu. Statistic. Accounting. Micro/Macro-economics. (more…)

That Sucks!

My blog was down for almost 24 hours yesterday, that sucks. This thingy killed my mood for a while, that sucks. And because I forgot what I have intended to blog, I blog about this, that sucks.

BTW, I’m still sick (not-so-high fever, flu and cough), that sucks.

This thing would only happen IF you have your sister in your FRIEND list on FB. =.=” That’s errr hehehehe.. Not really suck. (Nik is MY MOM)

On the bright side, something REALLY good happen to me yesterday, and Alhamdulillah, Thank You Allah!

Sombong

First of all, Terima Kasih sangat-sangat atas teguran tu. Secondly, to answer that question, adalah lebih baik kalau kita dalami dahulu makna ‘Sombong‘.

Sebenarnya, sejak Saffa sekolah menengah lagi ramai yang cakap Saffa sombong. Perkara ni ada kaitan dengan Saffa bukan jenis yang sangat murah senyuman. And Saffa suka buat pokerface.

Okay. Let me tell you something. I HATE WALKING/BEING ALONE (passing a crowd of people). That’s because I have this kind of feeling that I’m being watched / people are talking about me. So, I tend to be a bit ‘reserved‘. (more…)

Masa Kecik-Kecik Dulu #01: Surat Khabar

“Masa Darjah 4“

Ada sesiapa ingat tak pengalaman pertama beli surat khabar? Mesti tak kannn. TAPI. Saffa ingat! Hahaha. Okay.

Masa tu hujung minggu, Mak Cik Saffa malas nak keluar rumah, so, dia suruh Saffa yang baru darjah berapa ntah.. pergi beli surat khabar. DAN. Saffa dengan konpiden nyer, “Utusan?”..

Jeng jeng jeng…. Lepas pergi kedai runcit mamak, Saffa pun dengan gembiranya balik rumah. TAPI.

Mak Cik: Mana yang lain?
Saffa: Apa dia?
Mak Cik: Kenapa ada satu jer?

Lalu. Saffa pun teringat lah.. Masa dekat kedai runcit mamak tu………

“Apsal surat khabar ni ada tiga? Mesti terselit nih. Haish. Mamak nih! Susun lah elok2!” Dengan bijaknya Saffa pun tarik keluar and amik surat khabar yang depan tu.

Pssttt.. Saffa buang surat khabar Utusan bahagian Luar Negara dengan Mega tu. =.=” Hahahahahahaha.

Lepas tu memang Mak Cik saffa dah taubat daripada suruh Saffa beli surat khabar. Hehehe..

Of Shak’s Walimaturus And One Day Colloquium On Islam And Secularism

It’s definitely not easy to make the decision.

I dont know why.. but I find myself crying thinking that I will not be able to attend it. However, Alhamdulillah.. I’m going to this event. =)

This one-day colloquium will conclude the weekly – and presently ongoing – reading and discussion course on Professor Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas’s influential book ISLAM AND SECULARISM, in which al-Attas systemically synthesized his ideas on Dewesternization, Islamization, Education in the context of close engagement with the hegemonic, secularizing tendencies of modern Western thought.
